Description
Follow Michigan across the globe as the continents shift throughout geologic time. As tectonic plates collide and drift apart, the land that would be Michigan is home to different ecosystems. Join us as we explore the epic changes our home has undergone, learn about the many environments it has hosted, and meet the animals that thrived here.
Presenter: Katy Swanson is a naturalist at Love Creek County Park. She has created programs for Love Creek on geology, fossils and waterways. When she’s not combing the beach for interesting rocks and fossils or hiking local trails, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Joel, and cat, Sophie.
