At Creative Brush + Bloom DIY Studio For All Ages
 
The public is invited to an Open House to welcome Brush + Bloom DIY Studio, the new premier DIY destination in St Joseph on Thursday, May 2 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (EDT). The Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce will kick off the member event by performing a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests can explore the fun entertaining space that offers workshops to create artful projects that spark the imagination. They specialize in DIY classes for kids and adults. Event attendees can create their own DIY samples while enjoying refreshments. The winner of a $25 Workshop Gift Card drawing can choose to host a private party, attend a public class, or pick up a DIY kit to go.
 
Brush + Bloom DIY Studio offers unique workshops at affordable price points depending on the project and last between 2-3 hours. Classes vary by size and intensity. There is an array of workshops to experience painting wood decorative signs, door hangers and serving trays. New to the class menu is the DIY Plant Party, where by guests paint a planter, adopt a plant from an expanded selection, and learn how to care for the seedling. Workshops allow for walk-in style projects, giving guests more opportunities to get creative on a whim. Sharing the creative vibes is the perfect way to celebrate any occasion at any age with up to 20 guests. The group experience at corporate events is an opportunity to bond with co-workers and ice break with new peers. Workshops can enhance the value of a successful fundraising event. Enthusiasts may also experience artistic zen at their own happy place by taking a DIY Kit to go.

Owner, Taylor Sebrechts says, “Our journey began in 2016 (as The Turquoise Top Hat) offering wood sign workshops in the area. Hosting workshops gave me a creative outlet from teaching first grade and led to me ultimately ending my teaching career and embracing creativity full-time. Over the past 7 years we expanded to offer many types of DIY projects, hosting community instructors, and spreading joy and creativity wherever we go! After having our own Stevensville studio for several years, then moving to The Box Factory, we settled into our new home inside of Urban Garage Market. We hope you’ll join us in our fun and inspiring studio to create something amazing!”
