Out and Proud: LGTBQ History in West ...
Description
Formerly known as our "Thursday Night Lecture Series," the Passport to the Past is bringing exciting topics to the Courthouse Square every month!
Guests to Passport to the Past can join us in-person at the 1839 Courthouse or catch us online when we go live on our Youtube page! As always, our program is free to the public, but donations to support this amazing series is welcomed!
This month we are joined by the Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society& Museum director Dr. Eric Gollannek. He will be sharing the story of the LGBTQ community in West Michigan, with its epicenter just north of Berrien County in the Saugatuck-Douglas area. This talk is held in conjunction with their exhibit, "A Century of Progress: 100 Years of LGBTQ History."
Guests who join us in person will enjoy light refreshments before and after the talk.
Guests who join us can collect attendance stamps for each lecture they attend throughout the year. Passports are free and can be picked up at the museum. The more stamps you collect, the more prizes you can win!
