Description
You scream, I scream, we all scream for Baroda Soda! The Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce invites you to join our joyful celebration with a ribbon-cutting, Thursday, August 21st. The new ice cream shop and art gallery in downtown Baroda offers fun twists on classics using Michigan ingredients and art. Indulge in hand-dipped milkshakes or seasonal icy treats like cherry, apple cider, or watermelon slushies. August’s flavor is blueberry cheesecake ice cream with a stroopwafel chip. More than a sweet spot, it’s a community hub with crafts from local artists, private events, and workshops like henna, watercolor, or jewelry-making. The ribbon cutting includes a raffle for a free milkshake party.
Co-owners Kati and Frank Schoenwitz say, 'Baroda Soda is more than a catchy name. We wanted a space celebrating Michigan’s flavors, talent, and art scene—home sweet home.' Whether for a nostalgic shake, an espresso-topped Affogato, or hosting events, Baroda Soda offers a delightful experience for all ages.
