Steve Poltz at The Acorn

Description

An alt-folk singer-songwriter and all-around nonconformist, Steve Poltz has built a colorful career on offbeat humor, warm sincerity, and sheer musical unpredictability. From fronting the '90s cowpunk cult favorites The Rugburns to co-writing Jewel’s massive multi-platinum hit "You Were Meant for Me," Poltz has spent decades defying genres and masterfully weaving exploratory pop with raw, straight-ahead acoustic songwriting. Now established as a hard-touring troubadour and festival mainstay, his latest album, Joyride, delivers exactly what defines his legendary live shows: unsaturated, unadulterated art made by real humans in real time.
