Sweet Sounds: The House of David's Mu...
Description
Formerly known as our "Thursday Night Lecture Series," the Passport to the Past is bringing exciting topics to the Courthouse Square every month!
Guests to Passport to the Past can join us in-person at the 1839 Courthouse or catch us online when we go live on our Youtube page! As always, our program is free to the public, but donations to support this amazing series is welcomed!
NOTE: Due to the Youth Fair, this program has moved one week earlier than our normal scheduled date.
Our quarterly exhibit explores the story of the musical history of the House of David. In conjunction with said exhibit, HOD archivist Dr. Brian Carroll will join us to dive deeper into the story. From their early days to the 20th century, the sounds and musicians who put the HOD on the musical map will come alive once again.
Guests who join us in person will enjoy light refreshments before and after the talk.

Guests who join us can collect attendance stamps for each lecture they attend throughout the year. Passports are free and can be picked up at the museum. The more stamps you collect, the more prizes you can win!
