Sweetgrass Turtle Design - Beginner Class

Description

Join Joy Parsons Saturday, October 3rd, 1-4 pm, to create your very own sweetgrass turtle design! Joy will share her Cherokee Native American heritage teachings throughout the workshop. Sweetgrass represents the sacred connection between humanity and Mother Earth - peace, healing, and kindness.
Pins and clips will be provided as attachments for the underside of the turtle to wear as a broach or hair clip! Participants will also see a sweetgrass braiding demonstration and additional homegrown sweetgrass will be available for purchase. Class will be held in the Hoof-to-Hanger Fiber Mill 4217 Lake St Bridgman, MI. Class fee - $50 due at class time, with all materials included.
A 15% discount will be given to all items purchased in our Sandpiper Gift & Yarn Shop for those participants.
