Description
YOUTH EVENT (7 yo and under must be accompanied by an adult)
Real life fairies could be living right under your nose in your backyard, and you probably don’t even know it. Vernal pools are the source of life for many interesting creatures, including frogs, salamanders and fairy shrimp.
They may be in your neighborhood. Or along your favorite hiking trail. These small, shallow pools of water are called spring or “vernal” pools and they typically dry up during the summer months. Join Pat Fisher as he reveals the amazing world of vernal pools.
