Williams Orchard in October welcomes Red Delicious Apples and Vintage Tractors on Saturday and Sunday, October 9-10, 2021.
Williams Orchard will be welcoming members of the LaPorte County Sunday Farmers Tractor Club (Old Iron Club) to join in the apple picking fun while showing off their vintage tractors at the orchard grounds. Visitors are invited to visit with club members and learn more about each tractor being displayed.
Orchard staff have been patiently waiting for the ripening of the beautiful Red Delicious apples in the grove directly behind the Williams Orchard barn. This late season apple is especially abundant this year-and large…tempting everyone who passes by! All varieties of apples found in the orchard are now ripe and ready for U-Pick or pre-picked for sale in the market. In addition to the wide variety of apples, guests may purchase hot or cold apple cider, caramel apples, apple pies, apple crisps, cookies and other market items. Mums are still available for sale.
The orchard’s corn maze has proven to be a fun and challenging family activity. Guests will be delighted to see some of the barn renovations are finally place, most noticeably, large windows which have been installed in the west loft of the barn overlooking the orchard grounds, pond and water feature.
The orchard will be open through October 24th on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. There is no entrance fee to Williams Orchard.
