Brief Overview

Job Title: Marketing & Communications Manager

Salary: $25,000 - $35,000 per year

Type: Part-Time

Core Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing: Manage Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Create content for bi-weekly newsletters and event promotions.
  • Website & Admin: Update the website using ChamberMaster/WordPress. Provide front-office support when needed by answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Maintain Brand: Coordinate consistent messaging with contractors, committees, and across various marketing platforms and promotional materials
  • Board Reporting: Track online member data, create marketing reports
  • Chamber Support: Assist with the annual "Harbor Country Guide" publication, handle ad sales support, and attend Board and committee meetings.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 2–4+ years in marketing, social media, or content creation.
  • Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or Business is preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365/Google Workspace. Experience with Canva, email marketing tools, and CRM/QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work from the main Three Oaks office, New Buffalo satellite office, and attend occasional morning, evening, or weekend events.
