Located less than an hour from Chicago, 20 minutes from South Bend, and 10 minutes from New Buffalo MI, Briar Leaf is a favorite destination of golfers throughout the three-state area. Open to the public seven days a week.
With water features on eight holes, an island green, rolling hills, trees, and plenty of sand, Briar Leaf offers 18 memorable and challenging holes. The course plays a surprisingly difficult 6,579 yards from the medal tees with a slope rating of 133, providing a great test for the low-handicap players. Three other sets of tees are 6,217, 5,861, and 4,804 yards, respectively. This allows golfers to ''choose their challenge,'' making the course enjoyable for golfers of all skills levels.
