From the first peoples to the pioneers to the early industrialists to the present day, the region of Three Oaks has a fascinating history. The museum tells that story with artifacts, pictures, words and video displays. Open May-October.
During the 2020 season, the museum features the calculating machine constructed in Three Oaks in 1875-- perhaps the first working mechanical calculator made in America. The story behind it's creation is dramatic-- inventor Fred Warren finished assembly of the "calculating engine" on his death bed.
